That moment when you say - "That sounds so cool! I'll have to try it!" And then your child spills goldfish all over the backseat, or the nurse calls you in for your visit, or your child comes out of class eager to show you a project, and that idea slips away.
Maybe later you have a foggy recollection that you meant to write something down. Or you read about the event in the paper and think - "darn, I missed that?"
So, since becoming a stay at home mom, it seems I've transferred some of the thought and energy I used to put into lesson planning and curriculum research to finding and creating fun crafts and activities and staying up to date on the fun outings we can participate in. While I make no claim to having the best ideas, or the most ideas, or even all original ideas, I like to think they're worth sharing.
